What startled me was that the Fireflies were all blinking their lights at the exact same time as if they were at a party all clapping to the music. However there was no music, only the rushing of the water passing by our boat. It was nice because it was so calm after all the shouting at the hostels. You could hear the paddle gently pushing the water by. It made you say "Yes, finally we don't have to walk".
It was also quite creepy because you could see pieces of wood passing by. My friend and I thought that they were crocodiles so we dared each other to touch the water with our finger. It was a lot of fun. At the end of the trip when I got out of the boat I was so tired. I saw there was a gift shop so I went there to buy a souvenir.
It was one of the best times I've ever had this year.
